Positive: We arrived past 8 in the evening last June 25, 2026 and the owner, Maam Ivory, still welcomes us warmly. We took the shortcut from the port to Backroad Guesthouse, the road looked scary but we arrived safe. The place is clean, well organized and AESTHETIC! She even offered us unli water refill. We spent 4 nights at Backroad Guesthouse, it is a safe place and what we love the most is it is accessible to the San Juan busy street. You can inquire with her if car or motor rental is needed. Recommending Backroad Guesthouse 100/10. PS.Thank you, Ms Ivory for driving us at 10pm because we forgot to buy something from the convenience store.
