Positive: This is one of the most unique and authentic Italian experiences you could have, and one of the best choices we've made on our one month honeymoon trip all across Italy. An old Italian home built over a century ago with hallways full of unique artistic artifacts, situated on a tiny beautiful lake known as Lago Moro, surrounded by hills from all sides with no other houses or hotels in sight, a panoramic view through all bedroom windows, and a private staircase that leads directly onto a pier into the water. Breakfast was personally cooked and served by the owner and very hosputable host Martino Mascherpa, and included freshly squeezed orange juice, hot drinks, sweet pasteries, eggs on-demand, 3-4 types of cheese and salami, and a variety of fruits, some of which are literally delivered daily by boat across the tiny lake.
Negative: The location is very secluded and requires driving along the dark narrow curved provencial mountain road of Via Lago Moro up to the commune of Darfo. The access by car is somewhat problematic, and requires parking at the entrance to the tiny village, and switching cars or walking 200m by foot through the too narrow to drive allies. Although not suitable for everyone, this is totally worth it and what creates the charm of the place. There are dozens of larger lakes and hundreds of more luxurious tourist-oriented resorts in this region, but to the best of my knowledge none of them come close to offering such a secluded and private "house on the lake" feel as this place, perfect for romantic and relaxing getaways.

Positive: This was the most beautiful place I ever been to. It is very calm and quiet, with all cars parked outside the village and so romantic on the lake. The little village is Cosy, has a little church, a bar and a pizzeria. The locals were all very hospitable and friendly. And the owner of the B&B does a fantastic job!

Positive: Nice place with private beach just at the Moro Lake. I appreciate modern style, loving art and C&S lamps 😄. Perfect place for activities like cycling, SUP, swimming.. Martino was helpful, giving us advices about local attractions, planning our bike trips.. and making very good breakfasts..
