Positive: We got nice comfortable room for 4 people. The owner was very nice and he waited for us even though we arrived after the checkout.

Negative: There was no warm water.

Summary: Some people might find the bells from the near church annoying.

Positive: The rooms are nice and spacious, just above a bar so breakfast was never a problem. The beds are reasonably comfortable and there was hot water, with good pressure. The location, Ono San Pietro, is scandalously beautiful and it was a pleasure to walk around. This place is convenient for short stays. The staff was kind and responsive.

Negative: The room reeked of cigarette smell; the first night it was unbearable, even the sheets and curtains smelled terrible. I asked for a change of sheets and the curtains to be removed and washed, and that was promptly done, but I never got the curtains back in the room, so privacy was not great. Besides that, the shower head wouldn't stay up straight, which was annoying. Finally, lots of noise from the bar downstairs - if you're a light sleeper, this could be a problem. Overall, good service but the place could be greatly improved - and the smoke smell was frankly unacceptable in a non-smoking room.

Positive: the freshly made warm apple cake. Cleannes, big bathroom, very hot water, breakfast. 1 seg check-in. Rating it within it's price range (not a 5*), it exceeded our expectations.

Positive: It was fine for an overnight stop for us, and it would have been nice to have stayed longer. Nice area. We didn't find it noisy (see other reviews).

Negative: No real problems,. Breakfast ok - a bit basic, and we didn't have any plates or cereal dishes (or milk - but there was yoghurt), and couldn't find anyone.
