Positive: Everything. Hosts David & Leo are absolutel stars. We were arriving late, and they were so patient with us. We felt from the moment we got out of the car that we were with friends. The accommodation is spotless, with separate access, private bathroom and lovely bedroom there is plenty of space. The beautiful garden is a joy to wake up to. Breakfast was truly delicious, and David is so knowledgeable about foraging. He's a delight to talk to. Leo is fully of joy and cheer, she went above and beyond to make our stay fabulous. Fresh flowers in the bedroom and bathroom was a lovely touch.

Positive: Our hosts, David and Leonora were the most amiable, lovely hosts we have ever had. Set deep and tucked away in a beautiful glen reached via a dirt track road (don’t worry it’s better than it looks) it’s the most peaceful setting. Greeted warmly with tea/coffee and home made carrot cake (Delicious!) on arrival, we felt more as friends meeting than guests. The room is cosy, warm and comfortable. The bed is very nice. With our own dining room for breakfast next door. David and Leonora could not do enough for us, recommending the local pub(a couple of miles away in Stockland village) very warm ambience and great food. We slept very well and breakfast cooked by David was very delicious. Yoghurt, stewed fruits, homemade jams and a hearty cooked breakfast including eggs from the free range chickens roaming around the house set us up perfectly for the long drive home. We heartily recommend Higher Quantock B & B, and thank David and Leo for, in all honesty and our opinion, the best B&B we have stayed in. We will DEFINITELY be back!

Positive: From the moment we arrived we were made to feel like family. David and Leo were attentive to all our needs and requirements. The annex where we stayed was clean and very comfortable with lots of big windows to take in the beautiful surroundings. It's definitely off the beaten track, but therein lies it's charm. A wonderful place to relax and unwind. The breakfasts were wonderful. Kept us going all day! Fresh eggs from the four chickens that roam freely and a warm greeting from the lovely black Labradors.

Positive: Apart from the rough track leading to the bungalow, the location was both rustic and superb, being situated in the midst of woodland. The owners were exceptionally friendly, as we're their two dogs and four chickens and the breakfasts were delicious. A place to stay again should our travels take us in that direction again.
