Positive: Charming church which we were misdirected to. Lots of extras like tea coffee water creams etc

Negative: No clear name on hotel to say we were at right place. I am not a fan of clutter which our room was full of. No extra pillows. The country smell was all pervasive. Heavy traffic started very early outside our room. Hotel was not open for dinner which was probably my bad planning.

Positive: The property is beautiful, and the rooms are spacious and very clean. However, despite the name suggesting a B&B, I asked about breakfast options and was informed that breakfast is not available and that the name has no real meaning. Coffee and some cookies were in the room. As I arrived late, I also asked about getting a table in their fairly large restaurant, which was just about to open and still empty at the time. I was told there would definitely be no table available for a single person, and maybe something could be arranged around 10 p.m. The communication it was only possible in Italian, which can make things quite difficult for some non italian speakers. The place itself and the surrounding area are very beautiful, but only a true hospitality is what makes a hotel a great one.

Positive: Rooms were great except only one thing it was too hot in room even AC was running.

Negative: Temperature in room was unacceptable it was too hot and AC unit could not managed to keep normal temperature (below 25 degrees). There was no option to open windows as well

Summary: Room interior was very nice in old style and you could feel that owners spent a lot on it.

Positive: Old style with lots of antiques, nicely renovated with a lot of charm. Every room is different. There is also a good restaurant (locanda pieve) on the ground floor.

Summary: Best choice in the area. Stayed there for the second time.
