Positive: This is a beautiful little apartment which is very well equipped and spotlessly clean. It was lovely and warm in the winter and the view of the canal is a bonus. Sebastiaan was so kind and attentive during the stay. It was perfect.

Positive: The host was absolutely wonderful. The room was nicely decorated with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The photos don't do the apartment justice. There was complementary coffee and a nice coffee machine. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. There were several streaming channels, so we enjoyed a good movie after a long day out. We went in winter, and the room was well-heated. The view from the apartment was beautiful. The apartment is very well-situated, a few minutes walk from the nearest stores. It is about a 40-minute walk (for a slow walker) to the Marine Museum (visit this museum when in Den Helder - it's awesome), a 15-minute walk to the dunes and beach, and another great museum and restaurants.

Negative: It was really cold coming from a long walk, and I wish the shower was just a little hotter, although my husband said it was fine for him. I also misread the description and thought because it said kitchenette it meant there would be a stove, but that's on me. Honestly, there is nothing really to complain about; we were extremely satisfied with our stay.

Summary: Comfortable stay in a beautiful apartment with a great view, well situated and amazing host.

Positive: The apartment is very well furnished and absolutely comfortable. Due to the weather conditions, we spent most of our time watching Disney series on the smart TV and controlling the TV via the apartment's iPad.

Negative: The location may be a bit far from the bars and restaurants within walking distance – But perfect for relaxing and getting away from the hustle and bustle.
