Positive: Amazing historic country house in a beautiful location overlooking Bergamo. Lovely garden and breakfast terrace and one of the most beautiful rooms I have ever stayed in. The view from my balcony was perfect. I loved the walk up the winding road from citta alta ( ca 15-20min walking) On my departure day the host gave me a ride to the old town. Grazie!

Negative: Nothing to dislike, just a short 15 min walk into the old town may be too far for some.

Positive: Excellent stay in great location, relatively close walking distance to old town if you do not have a car, Delicious breakfast served daily on the terrace, from where we could admiring the wonderful view of the surroundings Very comfortable rooms fully equipped with all facilities, Greta and the family are very friendly and helpful, so they are happy to help with advice on local attractions and even give you a lift if you need transport to Bergamo Old Town, Their permanent contact with the guest assures you are not abandoned nor alone in case of problems or queries Thank you very much ! We'd like to return to this castle of rest in the future.

Negative: I will consider renting a car next time because I really prefer Greta (our host) to drive us if necessary on these unique Italian narrow roads then driving by myself :-) and you may then avoid having problems with finding parking spots in Bergamo

Positive: Beautiful family home with wonderful hosts . Excellent breakfast and breath taking views . The walk to town was not difficult for any able bodied person . The recommended local Trattoria just down the road for dinner each night is a must. Bergamot is a very gracious town and well worth a visit.

Positive: We arrived late due to our flight. When we arrived we were met with a friendly face who showed us our room. The room was for our family of 5 which we always struggle to find was set out perfectly. Our three children in one side and myself and husband in the other. It was huge and bathroom was a great size too. The view from our room was stunning and breakfast was delicious (we were well fed for our onward journey). The owner even took us to the bus stop.
