Positive: Excellent location within walking distance of everything we wanted to do. The owner, Antonio, was wonderful, organizing private tours and suggesting areas of interest. The breakfast room was like a museum and he graciously dealt with our lack of Italian while explaining the various items. Maria, his assistant, couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful, offering to make restaurant reservations or check whether things were open. Our third floor room (note - no elevator) while basic, was very clean and had everything we needed and the included Italian breakfast was delicious. You can also easily park right in front of the building which is a real bonus.

Negative: Only small complaint might be the size of the shower. It was very small but I think typical for older buildings.

Summary: We would highly recommend this B&B. We enjoyed every minute of our stay there.

Positive: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and felt very welcomed by Maria who spoke both Italian and English. The room was comfortable and had everything we required. Parking was provided in the property too. The location was handy being in the historical centre. We would highly recommend staying here and would stay here again if we returned.

Positive: Antonio, the property owner and host, was beyond accommodating! He met us when we arrived, provided a tour of the house/property, made dinner reservations for us, and offered to make reservations at the nearby castle and winery. He was welcoming and warm to our family. Antonio arranged for Marie, a wonderful lady from the UK, to help us with translation at Nonna Ionna - Trattoria, a local restaurant. The food was amazing!! The house is beautiful and includes a private chapel. It was very clean and comfortable for our family of 7. The house also has a lift if needed for luggage. Antonio asked about our preference for breakfast in the morning, and he provided far more than we had asked including fresh fruit and flowers on the tables! Marie was available at breakfast too, which was a wonderful surprise! She helped Antonio with breakfast and translation. We met a wonderful family from Australia during our stay there and they had the same experience. My grandfather was born in nearby Fontanarosa and this was the perfect location to stay since it was just 10 minutes by car. If we have the opportunity to stay with Antonio again, we certainly will! The price is incredibly reasonable for the large accommodations including breakfast. We also had two rental cars and there was plenty of parking space. We felt perfectly safe in Taurasi and walked in the evening. There is a lovely terrace on the upper floor of the house that we enjoyed too.

Negative: Honestly, nothing could have been better.

He spoiled my father & I from the moment we arrived, treating us like family and making sure we had everything we needed. His recommendations were fantastic, and every morning, he prepared an incredible breakfast that made us feel so at home. We felt so spoiled!!! The B&B itself is absolutely beautiful. It is extremely clean, comfortable, tranquil, and thoughtfully designed. It’s a tranquil and quaint stay & I always felt completely safe. Every detail made the stay memorable, and I can’t wait to come back. I’ll always recommend this place to anyone seeking to visit beyond the beaten path. Rare wines, olive oils, and special B&Bs here. Not something you want to miss. Antonio, thank you for such a wonderful stay. It has been the highlight of my father/daughter trip. Our new favorite place is Taurasi, Italy because of this special place.

Worth the trip to see the area. Ate at a delicious restaurant in town too, Nonna Ionna. Visit the castle and museum and tasting room
