Positive: Small room with a pleasant shower. Private parking space right outside and a small outdoor area for sitting in the sun. If you need peace and quiet and aren't looking for a standard hotel room, this is the place for you. It was perfectly fine for one night.

Negative: We traveled with two dogs, and since this category also allowed dogs, it was unfortunately very cramped. As a suggestion, a designated area for dogs would be great, or at least furniture to create more space.

Positive: The reception staff were able to arrange a tour of the old hotel as well as the old church on the property. The breakfast was also excellent. This was a very relaxed season to visit.

Positive: I loved it. Location is magical, the bed super cozy and FINALLY a hotel with curtains! I could sleep properly for a night by blocking the light. Breakfast was awesome :3

Positive: If someone wants to feel and taste Norway, this is the perfect place for them. We were enchanted by this place. The hotel covers a beautiful, well-kept area with many historical buildings. We were accommodated in a pet-friendly cottage. It was clean, warm and equipped with all the necessary equipment. There was a spacious parking lot next to the building. The service was very nice and very helpful. It was an amazing experience for us to be able to visit the palace and some of its rooms. The breakfasts also delighted us. They were prepared with local products from local suppliers. They were extremely varied and prepared entirely by the hotel kitchen. For the first time I had the opportunity to taste rhubarb jam and other wonderful dishes. There is a garden at the back of the kitchen. In addition, the kitchen uses fresh spices. For us, the advantage was also the shopping center, which is located nearby (where we could do some shopping for our onward journey). Whenever we are nearby, we will definitely use this hotel again and recommend it to our friends.

Positive: Well located by car, except for the road construction, which requires a bit of a detour

Negative: Got woken up early by construction works by a heavy lifter in front of our window. The hotel’s works created engine noise and beeping sounds with up to 89dB. This cut our sleep short, as the works continued for quite a while.
