Summary: The staff here really make the hotel. Other reviewers note that it is a little dated, but you soon forget about that with the amazing welcome. The staff were so helpful and polite. The service was wonderful. It was in a great location. We did not struggle with street parking and staff helped advise. The mattress was a little hard and air conditioning not so powerful, but a fan was quickly provided. Lovely gardens and so very quiet when inside. We would pick this hotel again. Thanks for a super stay and your professionalism.

Summary: We arrived early and the staff was very helpful. Though our room was not ready, they stored our luggage and allowed us to use the pool and fitness center until the room was ready. It was ready before noon, and we were given access then, even though it was still hours before their normal checkin time.

Summary: The rooms were kept very clean, and the staff is excellent. They are very knowledgeable and friendly, always ready to give a recommendation. Your location in Praca Velha is perfect. It is right in the middle of all the Christmas events. The garden behind the hotel is quite lovely and a great place to spend some time reading a book in nature. My wife and I appreciated the fact that we were within walking distance of so many things (Cultural Centre, Library, Museum, restaurants and pubs). This hotel is quite a gem.
