Positive: the view in the hotel is very nice and the service is good

Negative: I hope the breakfast menu changes every morning. because we stayed for 3 days with the same menu 🙄although the food is quite delicious. But 3 days with the same breakfast, lunch and dinner is very boring. We have a car but can't go because the road it's just being built so the parking is super far away and the road is dark.

Summary: add a variety of food menus so that we can enjoy it more if we stay more than one day

Positive: The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and offered some truly spectacular views — a very calm and considered space overall. What made the experience stand out, though, was the team. Ketut was exceptional — attentive without being overbearing, and clearly someone who takes pride in creating a thoughtful guest experience. Rambo was also incredibly professional and quietly made sure everything ran smoothly. I also had the Mie Goreng here, and it ended up being the best I’ve had in the region — simple, but done exceptionally well. I’d absolutely return, and would recommend it without hesitation.

Negative: The road leading up to the villa was quite rough at the time — though construction on a new one had already started while I was there, so it’s likely been resolved. Everything else was excellent.

Summary: Peaceful, well-run, and beautifully located — a genuinely relaxing experience.

Positive: The views from here are just stunning! Really lovely comfortable rooms, beautiful staff, especially Ketut... we got soaked on the way there (scooters) and she made us a special hot tea to warm us up on arrival and hung out our wet washing to dry the next day while we were out. So thoughtful! The nasi goreng was really excellent too! We loved it all so much we ended up staying an extra night. We will 100% be back again!

Positive: Rooms were cleaned and great scenic view from hotel room. We were upgraded to suite room

Negative: The location is very down the hill so after 5-6 pm you will not get any vehicle to commute to the hotel. We called up hotel lady and she just said you take the local grab or gojek but we already tried those options and when we didn’t get the vehicle then we called up and she didn’t even help. Luckily Some local man was going on a bike he offered the ride to hotel and we paid 20k IDR per person to him.

Positive: The view of the mountains is good, the staff was helpful. Clean room with hot water and air con and sitting area.

Negative: Access to the property is a bit remote, can’t walk to the city center and grab is difficult to come by. You have to have your own transportation. Limited menu, we were the only guests there at the time. We ended up leaving one day early as the property lost power around midnight to morning. Couldn’t work due to power outage and loss of internet. Steep steps but that’s because the property is built on the side of a mountain, it’s not for people with limited mobility. Still Waiting for one night refund for loss and unreliably of power….

Positive: Nice view of the Batur from the balcony. Friendly and supportive hosts. Transport to any destination or activity is provided anytime within a few minutes and at fair price.

Negative: Not uncommon for Kintamani the accommodation is off the main road. Walking up to Kintamani (which stretches over kilometres) or down to the lake and the hot springs is not really possible, since it would take too long. And a lot of steep stairs need to be descended and ascended.

Summary: I recommend this quiet place, since transport is readily provided 24/7.

Positive: It’s absolutely unusual place. It’s just at the foot of the mountain. So beautiful. The owner is very pleasant and kind, thanks for welcoming!

Negative: The road leading to the hotel was slightly washed out, and it took us a long time to get there by car. There were large black ants in the room, which made us feel a bit uncomfortable. It would be great if insect repellents were provided in the rooms.

Positive: The view of the lava fields and the volcano was amazing. The hotel had incredible architecture and gardens. The furniture was good quality and the room and bathroom were spacious, with a huge bathtub. The breakfast was lovely, and the meals were delicious. But above all, the staff were wonderful people- Krishna, Rainbow, and Putu made us feel welcome and comfortable. We’ll happily stay here again, and highly recommend it.

Negative: Everything was great.
