Summary: We were amazed to have access to all 3 hotels as part of the Ayana resort with their amazing pools, rooftop bars, private beach and the SAKA Museum as well. So many activities to choose from, fantastic staff, beautiful room, and so much to do. We loved Luna Rooftop Bar with DJ and amazing views, even more than the Rock Bar which is massive these days compare to 10 years ago..Also loved the peacefulness of the Forest Pool and Bar at Rimba.. a great stay indeed!

Summary: I really wanted to love Ayana Resort Bali but overall it was not a good experience. What disappointed me most was how stressful and restrictive everything felt. Sunbeds were extremely limited — multiple pools were already full, and we had to physically queue and stay there just to wait for one. You can’t even leave and come back when it’s ready, which honestly took away any sense of ease. Food was another struggle. There seem to be many dining options, but a lot of them only open for dinner. One afternoon we just wanted a simple poolside lunch, but nearby restaurants were “fully booked” — even though there were clearly empty tables that weren’t being used. We were told everything had to be booked through the app. I understand convenience, but having to pre-plan every meal kind of defeats the whole idea of a resort holiday. It got even more frustrating when we were told we couldn’t order food at the pool unless we had a sunbed — which, again, was already hard to get. Eventually we managed to get one after going back and forth, and finally started to relax a bit. Then the bill was brought to us without us even asking. And we were told that we cannot charge the bill to the room and had to pay by card immediately. What kind of resort is this?

Summary: Hands down the best hotel/resort in Indonesia. The staff are extremely friendly and hospitable. I would say this is my favorite hotel in the world. Much better than The W and The Ritz. Highly recommend.

Summary: We only stayed here for two nights, but that was a mistake — we should have stayed a few more days in this amazing resort. Everything in the resort is very well organized, and all the staff members are incredibly kind. The sunrise and sunset views are amazing from anywhere in the resort. My favorite place was the Ocean View Pool, especially in the early morning and at sunset. I know Bali has many things to do, but if you choose to stay at this resort, you should spend time enjoying the property because everything here makes you happy. The only thing I would improve is the Ayana app. If the app had directions to each location within the resort, like Google Maps, it would be very helpful for walking around such a huge area.

Summary: Our stay at Ayana was magical! There is so much to on the property. It’s very relaxing and the staff is all incredibly kind! The one item of feedback that we had is that there were not a lot of vegan options at the restaurants and that this is something that could be improved. The main place we could go was the Spa cafe for vegan items but the rest of the restaurants on site did not have these options. The menus definitely had a lot of vegetarian options. The staff did a great job working with us to create vegan options which we immensely appreciated!
