This 3 bedroom, 2 bath log home with JACUZZI and GAME ROOM is perfect for a family getaway! This spacious log cabin is nestled amongst soaring trees, perfect for connecting with nature and allowing you to feel totally immersed in the wilderness! Enjoy the sounds of nature as you soak in the HOT TUB big enough for the whole family! You can even hear the running water from the creek to the left of the driveway as you swing on the porch!
Skip’s Bearly Rustic Cabin is located in a cove surrounded by lush towering trees that make you feel peace and serenity as you are one with nature! Have your morning cup of coffee on the deck swing as you hear all of nature’s sounds. The cabin is beautifully decorated and the main floor has the master bedroom overlooking the porch and beautiful trees and the bathroom features a double shower head! The kitchen is modern and equipped with everything you need to cook meals at home including gourmet knife set, spice rack, coffee included (Keurig pods and also drip coffee). The coffee table in living room doubles as a Fusball Table which kids love! There’s also games in the game cabinet such as checkers, chess, Monopoly, backgammon, Connect 4, Mancala, puzzles, Legos, coloring books, and so much more to keep the kids busy for hours! The GAME ROOM down in the basement is AWESOME too for kids, teens and also us adults!
The game room features a 2-in1 AIR HOCKEY/ PING PONG TABLE as well as a basketball arcade game and a dartboard! There’s a sleeper sofa and also a futon in the game room to sleep 2-3 teens!
In the living room, the couch and recliner is so plush and comfy you may not want to get out, making you surrender and just relax in front of the crackling fireplace
Upstairs are two bedrooms that share a bathroom with a tub. One bedroom has a comfy queen bed and also a plush chair that opens up to a small bed perfect for a child or toddler. There is also room for a twin air mattress in the Queen bedroom to sleep an extra person. Summary: Very spacious and well appointed cabin. We had a very enjoyable stay. The beds are very comfy. My favorite part is the porch and just sitting outside. My two young adult daughters and grandson loved the game room. Great laundry access too. Host Michele is amazing and provides great communication! Overall 5 stars!!

Summary: Great communication with the host. There were no surprises. Very reasonably priced for a 3 bedroom cabin. Loved the hot tub. Comfortable master bedroom & en-suite on main floor. Great that we could bring our 15 year-old mini golden doodle with us.

Summary: The cabin is wonderful. Everything we needed for a week. Blairesville is very close for groceries, and all the other towns we wanted to visit are within an hour. Brasstown Bald is a must, such beautiful views! The beds were very comfortable, the house is very clean, with plenty of room to spread out. Thank you for the hospitality Michelle!

Summary: We stayed here while hiking the AT nearby. Great location close to Vogel state park and lots of hikes. Blairsville is about 20 min away has a good selection of restaurants and grocery. The cabin was cute and comfortable, and we really enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of hiking. There seemed to be an issue with water pressure, but we alerted our host and she was very apologetic. I’m assuming that is a temporary problem. Overall we had a great stay!

Summary: Very quiet and peaceful location. Cabin was exactly as expected based on the photos. Nicely decorated and very well stocked! Kids loved the game room! If arriving at night, can be difficult to find the driveway. Definitely would stay again!

Summary: Stayed end of May 2023 with five adults and One small dog. Communication w/host was top notch. She even offered suggestions for things to do. We did have a few hiccups during the stay. The picture of the place is spot on but, the drive up to the home was a little tough with my SUV (gravel drive at a steep grade) and spun the tires each time we wanted to go to the front door so a regular car might have an issue without four wheel drive. There are two ways to enter the driveway, one is steep(30 degrees) and the other is 25 degrees but at least you have a running start to go up the latter, just be careful of the rocks on both sides of the driveway (needs to be wider). The hot tub was a nice place to relax after a day of hiking to soothe achy muscles but it did block access to the picnic table and grill on the porch which required slight acrobatics to maneuver around. All in all, a great vacation to get away from it all. Other issues were discussed with the host and those things will hopefully be addressed for future renters.

Summary: My family and I had a very relaxing stay at this cabin. My wife, four boys and our dog all enjoyed the property. The boys loved exploring the woods and creek right on the property. They found countless salamanders and craw fish. We enjoyed nightly fires in the fire pit and even cooked a meal on the crate provided. The hot tub was relaxing, the games in the basement/garage were all a hit. Highly recommend for a family getaway! The host is very responsive to any questions you may have as well!

Summary: Our family loved this getaway! We had a great time with our daughter and her friend who thoroughly enjoyed the game room and hot tub. The cabin had all of the amenities we needed. I recommend making sure your arrival time is during sunlight hours as the winding roads can be tough to navigate. Town is about a 20 minute drive and arriving in the evening with a car full meant another drive out for groceries, so I suggest making your grocery run prior to arrival or try to arrive during daylight hours. I would definitely recommend this cabin stay to friends and family!

Summary: We totally enjoyed our stay at Michele’s cabin in the Blue Ridge Mountains! So cozy and decorated perfectly! Well stocked and full of things to do!!! The place is so peaceful and we can’t wait to go back! I highly recommend this place for a group of 6 or less!!! We had a blast! Thanks Michele! Your place is so welcoming!!!
