Positive: - location (3 walking minutes to the beach) - very friendly staff - incredible proximity to nature, especially forest animals
Negative: - due to heavy rain the sewage system sometimes left behind an unpleasant odor - in our 4 breakfasts, during which one picks a themed breakfast plate of the day that will be brought to the table, we weren’t told that there is actually a breakfast buffet behind the bar

Positive: We stayed here for a night and had a delightful stay. David was absolutely fantastic and could not have been more helpful - thank you for looking after us! Th room also had a great design, a very comfy bed and a beautiful terrace which we enjoyed with a cup of the hotel’s special coffee in the morning! The pancakes for breakfast were also a huge win.

Positive: We had a truly pleasant stay. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. The team was warm, attentive, and always willing to help. You can really sense their dedication to taking care of the guest experience. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed. We slept very well and loved the peaceful atmosphere of the property. Breakfast was one of the highlights of our stay — fresh, varied, and very well presented. The quality of the food and the service made a noticeable difference. During our visit, the beach was not in its best condition due to strong cold fronts that had recently affected the entire coastline, accelerating coastal erosion from Cahuita to Manzanillo. It was honestly quite striking to see. However, we truly appreciated the effort of the staff, who worked hard to create and maintain a clean and comfortable space so guests could still enjoy the oceanfront setting despite circumstances completely beyond the hotel’s control. Overall, we had a very positive experience, especially thanks to the comfort of the rooms and the attentive service. We would gladly return.

Positive: I absolutely loved this hotel, it's located on a beautiful bit of beach and the grounds are fantastically presented although a little small. The staff were incredibly attentive and the food pretty good. My room - the garden view with private pool was phenomal with all doors opening up so I felt like I was living in nature.
Negative: The room lacked a bit of privacy with staff walking past in the distance. Frozen fish was used in my dinner which I think was a bit of a shame given the location. It's fairly expensive for what it is but the sense of luxury, abundance and overall vibe justifies it.
