Positive: Great location! Small village away from the tourist bustle but still close enough to serve as a base for seeing the surrounding beaches and attractions. Jason was really friendly and helpful, his homemade raki was just perfect!. Really comfortable beds and the villa itself is really spacious. Fantastic pool was definitely huge advantage ad we might rest while kids were playing. Local taverna just nearby offers delicious food. To sum up, if you want to taste something local and feel like living in a Greek village for a while this is your must have!

Positive: We had a fantastic stay at Avocado Villa Fivos. Iason and his family were incredibly welcoming—his passion for the place and the land really shines through. They shared delicious local produce and gave us great advice on exploring the area. The villa strikes a perfect balance between traditional charm and modern comfort. It was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and very well equipped. The pool was large and very well maintained and the views from the house over the surrounding countryside were stunning. Our son especially loved the farm tour, where he got to meet the animals and plant his own avocado tree—a highlight of the trip. The location is ideal for visiting Chania, as well as the beautiful beaches of Balos and Elafonisi. We’d happily return.

Positive: The villa was great, everything you needed for a comfortable relaxed stay. Jason was super helpful and friendly and accommodating of our requests. We loved staying so close to a working farm and especially the visits from the dogs and the local cats.

Negative: Nothing, everything was great.

Positive: Fantastic host Jason, he was willing to show us the local surroundings. The villa was spacious for 5 people and a fantastic swimin pool.

Negative: Nothing, but the roosters can wake you up earlier than expected. Nothing you can do as animal do what they do.

Positive: The Villa is excellent, with perfect facilities. Fresh farm produce was given to us on arrival. The pool is great & cleaned daily. There is an outdoor barbecue which was also brilliant. The thing that separated this stay from previous similar villas was the host Jason - he was extremely friendly and helpful. A perfect host in a perfect Villa.

Positive: "We felt very welcome and had a lovely stay in the villa with its great private swimming pool area. Everything in the villa was very clean, very well prepared and equipped. The added value is without hesitating the active hospitality and promptness of Jason. After all, beside enjoying a nice location, on the top of is to may enjoy some of the local culture We liked to be located in the village, with a small church and its lime tree, a taverne and an evening with life music outside. We enjoyed it! Thank you so much. Great also to may taste Jason his own biological farm products! We recommand highly the location as it's also easy to visit the beautiful spots, to discover and do activities on this part of the Island. We do regret one thing : not have had more time available to book a longer stay ."

Positive: Jason was an exceptional host who welcomed us on arrival and showed us around the property. Leading up to our arrival, he was very communicative and quick to reply to any queries we had. On arrival, we received a selection of local produce and a bottle of wine to welcome us. The private pool was a standout and welcome relief for warm days. The house has all amenities you could ask for and strikes the right balance between rural and city location. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting a Cretan escape.
