Positive: We had a wonderful time in Hualien. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and in a great location—within walking distance to the sea, the city center, and several cafés and restaurants. Communication was smooth and easy via WhatsApp, and support was offered whenever needed, such as helping us order a taxi. We highly recommend this place and would definitely come back!

Positive: Big, bright, beautiful room with balcony and natural lighting. Windows in the bathroom. Balcony has a nice view of the mountains. Comfortable bed. I asked for a knife to cut a papaya and the staff provided it to me. Thank you. Great location close to the beach and restaurants.

Negative: No elevador. No parking. You need to search for parking on the streets and pay during the day. Construction site in front.

Summary: I would stay there again.

Positive: We had a great one night stay at Avenue B&B. The host kindly waited for us to check in and gave us his parking spot upon leaving. Our room was super spacious, comfortable, had great A/C and had a lovely bathroom/shower. It was perfect for what we needed and affordable beyond our imagination.

Negative: There is construction nearby but was only audible during the day. So you're aware, there is no elevator so take it into mind when considering what suitcases you carry.

Positive: Very clean room and close to the nightmarket. It's also quiet modern. There are some nice coffees and breakfast stalls close by which makes it good walkable. The train station is quiet far away though.

Negative: You can only pay by cash and despite it being called "Bed & Breakfast" there is no breakfast option.
