Positive: It was very cozy, clean and well decorated. The owners were very friendly and thoughtful. They even gifted me some fresh eggs form their hens for my breakfast.

Negative: Nothing.

Positive: The location was great, the house was very clean, and all the appliances worked well. The garden was lovely, and the chickens at the back were great fun for our child. There were also horses next to the property, which was a great addition for kids. Overall, it’s a nice house in a pleasant area — calm and relaxing.

Negative: However, we did not like that it was not possible to adjust the temperature ourselves. We had to ask the landlord each time to increase the heating via his application. On several occasions, we had to explain that the app was showing incorrect values and that the house was actually cold. This was particularly inconvenient as we were traveling with two children, including a 4-month-old baby. In addition, the BBQ was not prepared for use. We were asked to wait for the landlord to come and set it up, which was not convenient for us, so we decided not to use it.

Summary: Great house, but lack of heating control was a problem.

Positive: Excellent rural location. The property exceeded our expectations as the website Photos do not do it justice. Fantastic communication with the owner and easy check in / out. Excellent outside terrace with plenty of seating options. After extensive travel over many years it takes a lot to impress us. This property certainly did though.

Negative: The pillows but that’s always a personal choice!

Positive: Very clean, great cooking appliances, very nice place in the middle of nowhere, friendly host, good wifi

Negative: It was very hot at night and if you open the windows bugs would come. It would be nice to have a ac (fan was not enough), or an insect screen in the window.
