Positive: The location was quite convenient – close to a bus stop, about a 15-minute walk to the metro, and with shops, bars, a university, and a park nearby. The kitchen was very well equipped with all necessary appliances, and the bathroom was also fully equipped. I really appreciated the keyless entry system with codes, which was very convenient. The property is located behind a gate, which made it feel safe. There was also a laundry available, which was a big plus. The communication with the host was excellent, and the Wi-Fi worked very well.

Negative: There was an unpleasant smell in the apartment, especially from the wardrobes – it felt musty, possibly like damp or mold, although it was hard to identify exactly. It was also quite cold. The air conditioning only heated the mezzanine bedroom, so the lower level remained very cold.

Summary: Good stay overall, but affected by cold and an unpleasant smell.

Positive: the location and how easy it was to get to the room, the automated process

Negative: the room was not properly cleaned, there was a lot of dust under the bed and the floor also had dirt. We asked for a cot for the baby since the spacing between wood fences was very big and the baby could fall off and they asked us for 49€ which is absurd. On the first night of our stay some alarm went off for over 25 min, past 10:30PM(!!) and I tried to call the contact provided through booking but no one answered and I believe it was one of the guests that managed to fix it.

Positive: We liked the customer support, design and the building quality of the place was also okay. The apartment has Wi-Fi, iron and other great little things. Also the lounge area outside where everybody can hang out together.

Negative: The upstairs room was nice and didnt get too hot during night BUT it has a smoke detector in the ceiling that was flashing with green light and when its dark during night it lights up the whole room in every other minute and that was really disturbing. Really tested our patience. Also the ceiling was so high that we couldnt reach it to do anything about it. The yellow sofa downstairs opened in 3 pieces- 2 were very soft and the third, bottom piece was hard to sleep on. Talked to customer support about it and got a new, big blanket to put on top of the sofa to make the softness a bit more even. Some surfaces were unclean and the stains came off easily, which made us think the previous cleaning was probably just a quick look at everything. What did bother us was the fact that floors were unclean since we wanted to walk inside with our socks on most of the time and got them really dirty from that. I understand its a cultural difference aswell, but just.. the floors need a little wipe please. Actually- an idea: maybe provide some 1-time use slippers next time? That would also solve the problem well for the ones that don't want to wear the shoes inside too much. Since the place is in the city it had some noise and dogs barking on the background- completely normal, just a little psa for the light sleepers to bring your earplugs.
