Positive: The igloo was really cool. Great experience. Very clean, well thought out, practical, cozy, romantic, safe. Had the attached bathroom. Mini fridge, coffee and tea supplied. Pretty lamps, best part.. the mattress was heated.

Negative: Terrible staff. I called with some issues, clearly I was bothering the man. Directions on the initial paperwork were incorrect. Heater wasn’t working, he would send maintenance. Woman arrived shortly after, she very quickly explained how to work the heater. She was very abrupt and couldn’t leave fast enough. My son rented the igloo next to us, on his little table was a carafe of water and 2 glasses. I asked her if we could have one as well and she told my husband and I would could drink the water out of the tap 😳 I asked for new batteries for our ambient candle and she said she’d see if she could find any 😳 The igloo was great so we weren’t going to let the rudeness of the staff ruin our experience. We would probably find another igloo place next time.

Positive: the keys were labelled

Negative: no staff to attend to you on ground when contacted, staff was impatient The facility could have had a microwave at least - there was no food but we should be able to warm food brought in. they basically had only tea and biscuit.

Positive: Amazing property, I absolutely loved our globe and bathroom. I can’t believe we saw the northern lights from the comfort of our bed with a hot chocolate in hand. Lying down in our globe cuddling whilst the night lit up will be a memory for a lifetime. Thank you for making that dream come true

Negative: The shower was horribly small and the shower head wasn’t good. The doors were very difficult to lock and unlock. Which the bed had a headboard.

Positive: Such a fabulous way to stay and we are grateful for this experience. Igloos were well equipped with many options for hearing including electric blankets and heaters. A fan was also there if needed. Beds were comfortable. Hot drink station was nice and communication was excellent. Small mini fridge in the reception to use overnight. There is also an accessible shower here. Close to Helka food truck (highly recommend) and American School Bus Cafe.

Negative: The reception / comfort station needs some attention. Doors are jammed and some washrooms wouldn’t open after being locked. Some guests left the shower areas flooded with water and their hair so that was a disadvantage going in after them with no cleaning staff on site to ensure the washrooms are maintained. May be helpful to have bath mats available to put down. Ie smaller bath towels for the floor. We used some larger towels to mop up with but then that used the small supply of towels that was left on the shelf. Despite using google we had a challenging time finding reception building at night to get our keys. The reception building is the opposite to what you think. It’s in the 17-28 section of igloos. A sign at the road pointing in that direction would be great.

Summary: Incredible, splurge worthy and unique accommodation!
