Positive: We had a fantastic stay here whilst we did not have the luck of visibility on our side to see the northern lights through the clouds we still had an experience that money can’t buy. The location is so peaceful, surrounded by woodland and snow. We were lucky to see two deers walk by on the snow. The cabin is cosy but spacious it has everything you would need. We made full use of the cooking facilities, the sauna and the log fire. The hosts, Henri & Ellinoora are the best hosts we’ve ever had - it’s the little touches that make the biggest difference (beers, thoughtfulness, regular toilet cleans) they are so welcoming and accommodating even supporting with transport as we did not have a car - to/from the airport for a very reasonable fee considering it’s their time as well as the transport! We will 100% be back again even if we didn’t get lucky again for the northern lights this stay is an experience of pure peace being able to sit in nature with your thoughts is very special. Thank you :)

Positive: The owners of the cabin were so accommodating. A very simple way of living but it was so cosy! In the beautiful snowy forest. It was like being surrounded by a winter wonderland. The sauna was amazing and the fire place was also so lovely. Perfect for the cold weather we experienced. The cabin was very warm for 2 days once heated. We saw the most amazing northern lights over the lake. It’s a small super comfy cabin. Only half hour away from the city. I would book again.

Negative: No running water but it’s okay. Once you get used to it it’s not so bad.

Positive: So comfortable, lovely furnishings and touches to make everything awesome. Really clear instructions on everything from the sauna use to fire and getting there. Would have been incredible without seeing the northern lights. Just happened to make it even more special that I did on both nights.

Positive: What an amazing place to stay in Lapland! Great location to view the Northern Lights and so much peace and tranquility.

Negative: We loved everything about being out in the location.

Positive: Million dollar view from the window (right off the bed)! A little cramped, but ok for two people. Not very typical conditions for water and toilet use, but not critical. It is enough to heat only the sauna, it will already be warm in the cabin itself, it's too hot if you use the stove as well. The hosts took care to explain in detail how to get to the site, and the lodge also provided helpful instructions on how to handle the facilities.

Negative: A dangerous door lock that can easily slam shut when you're outside.
