Positive: This is an amazing, authentic, and cozy hytta located at the top of Rättvik. A charming little house, perfect for a family with kids.

Negative: We loved our stay, however: • The house is located quite far from the beach and city center — you definitely need a car. • The apartments don’t have a front lake view, only a partial side view from the terrace. In summer, the trees make it hard to see the lake at all. • We were on a mini-holiday, and our morning was interrupted by a loud lawn-cutting machine around 8:30 AM — operated by a very kind lady, but still… 😭 • The €70 cleaning fee feels too high for these apartments, and the host could be more responsive online. • Overall, while the place itself is truly beautiful, it lacks a sense of hospitality. We’d love to return someday — once that changes.

Positive: The cabin was cozy and has a nice view! The kitchen is well equipped. Sally was very nice and helpful. We would come back!

Negative: What I didn't expect was to find out that the cabin is further away than thought. On the website it says 5 minutes by car, which is almost accurate, but it doesn't say that because it is in a hill the walk is actually around 45 minutes. Luckily, Sally was very nice and helpful and gave us a ride both ways.
