Positive: The property was very comfortable and extremely well stocked.

Negative: The only issue was we got snow and quickly turned to ice. The stairs and driveway was a sheet of ice. It was somewhat dangerous conditions.

Summary: The house was wonderful as was the surroundings!!!

Positive: The location was beautiful and near the beach.

Negative: The advertisement on booking.com says it has air-conditioning. Unfortunately only the master bedroom and one room upstairs with the twin beds had air-conditioning. We had 5 guests with us and our 91 year old grandmother. Mind you we visited during summer months. When we arrived the home was very hot as high as 83 inside the home. It took quite a while to cool down despite opening up the windows and even turning on the window ACs in the 2 rooms. If I would have known it didn't have Ac in the home then I would have choose a different area to vacation. But we made the best of the short stay. BOOKING.COM should advertise it correctly as partial AC only in the rooms. Despite the inconvenience the location and home was beautiful. Coming in cooler months would not have been so bad but during the summer..the home can get quite stuffy and my son has asthma and allergies so he had to just stay in the room with the AC.

Positive: The house was cute and in a lovely location overlooking the water! There was plenty of room to move around and lounge! They had lots of games, books and some DVDs to choose from! There were plenty of dishes, and kitchen supplies available! We appreciated the abundance of towels available for us to use! We all enjoyed the Story written about the house's history ,and how the homeowners came to own the house!

Negative: The place was clean, but it could use a good dusting. The floors didn't appear to be washed much. Some of the beds ,while comfortable, had older mattresses. One of the bed frames was broken, so we had to use books to hold up one end! The coffee maker was fussy ( the carafe needs to be pulled out a bit, otherwise the coffee would not end up in it!). The one available can opener was all rusted.( We replaced it for the homeowner 😊).

Summary: Adorable water front home, perfect for a weekend getaway!
