Positive: Incredible vibe, completely appropriate for the historic area it's in. Incredible spread for breakfast, really lovely and accomodating staff. Absolutely lovely shared common areas for you to rest and relax in.

Negative: Could have used a closet or at least hangers to hang on the hooks on the back of the door - hard to keep my conference clothes non-wrinkled.

Positive: Quiet, newly renovated place with traditional auberge signatures, friendly staff, and a feeling like living in a "Beauty and Beast" castle - everything is done and taking care of, but without seeing anyone

Negative: Rooms are really small, but they can't be improved. However, the common room has everything: storage space, ample seating, comfortable couches, etc. It's a real auberge, either enjoy it or find a standard hotel room

Summary: We really enjoed the auberge, feeling the history of the house and being very close to Old City

Positive: Lovely continental spread including fresh cookies! Tea and coffee and snacks were also available throughout the day. The owner and staff were really friendly and helpful, and the B&B was really interesting with a good communal lounge. Excellent location!

Negative: It's a little small in the bedroom we had, and our ensuite was small, but there was a large communal bathroom on the ground floor which we could also use.

Summary: Lovely, homely stay in a building with a lot of history. Would stay again gladly!

Positive: I cannot give enough praise for this place. I felt right at home from the moment I stepped in. I was charmed by the oldy worldy style and the hospitality of Donna and Jessica and the ladies who work for them. It was even better than I could have imagined. Everyone was so kind and the house was so beautiful and clean. The breakfast was delicious and full of options. I ate divine fresh croissants each morning with espresso coffee and a fruit salad. Donna always had teas and coffees available throughout the day and put out muffins and cookies in the afternoon to enjoy. It was the perfect location for walking and exploring the old town and with lots of restaurants and cafes to make sure I was never hungry. I loved everything about my time here and I'm already thinking about when I can stay again. I cried leaving this place and it will always be a very special memory I stayed here.

Negative: Nothing could have been better. It was perfect.

Positive: Donna, her staff, the rooms, the location, the breakfast, especially the house and how it felt like home. We stayed in just as much as we went out because the place was so relaxing, cozy, and welcoming. Cribbage by the fire. Movies in the movie room. I've never been to a place so much like home. Thank you, Donna.

Positive: The charm of this little Inn was through and through. The staff was lovely. We woke to the smell of croissants baking every morning. We felt like we stepped back in time to the 1920's. Soft music and a slower pace with exceptional decorating, soft linens and an at home feel. The location was also a plus. We planned a dinner with friends and had wine & d'oeuvres on the deck followed by pizza & salad in the formal dining room.
