Positive: As we had stayed here before, we knew what to expect. The location is ideally situated for a short break. Ideally situated for lovely walks and very close to all shops, restaurants and the marina.

Negative: Sadly, the hotel guest rooms are looking very tired and in need of modernisation. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Remember that the hotel is cashless,which I believe is wrong.

Positive: The location was in great proximity for the Christmas light cruise. Great indoor pool ares

Negative: Our 2 bedroom unit on the 4th floor was very tired looking. No power point in the bedrooms to plug in the fans. I think the price we paid for what we got was a little expensive.

Negative: The building itself is generally showing its age, in need of maintenance and sprucing up - eg stairway tiles chipped, hallway carpets drab. Air conditioner cover in our room fell off (an old in-wall model) and revealed a pile of fluff inside the unit. Small things but a shame to see the place looking a bit unloved. The Atrium is a beautifully designed grand building. We love staying there.
