Positive: This hotel is very beautiful. It is a traditional heritage building that has maintained its charm. I usually go to traditional bed&breakfasts but it was nice to try this "dinner&bed" option especially after a long 6hr drive. Great food and ambiance right on site. Great bedroom, bed and washroom.

Negative: The room was cold when I entered it and the staff did not show me how to increase the heat. I had to figure it out myself.

Summary: A great place to experience small town Canadian culture & get a good night sleep on a long roadtrip.

Positive: The room was plain but clean, could have used a chair to sit on. There was no TV but that was okay as I knew that going in and I had a book to read Being a Friday night the pub below as playing load music as was to be expected. However. given it was Ontario and not Quebec it ended fairly early. Toilet and shower were down the hall, very clean and I never saw it in use by others.
