The house Vogelsang 2016 was awarded by the German Tourist Board 4 stars. The attractive 4 room apartment with 95m² located on the first floor of our house. The apartment is bright, cozy and comfortable (new kitchenette 2016). The house is located on the edge of the Black Forest in the midst of vineyards (240 m./ NN.). An outstanding feature of our apartment is the magnificent view over Offenburg, the Rhine Valley up over the neighboring Alsace with the mountain range of the Vosges.
The wine Fessenbach is a district of Offenburg, located 3.0 km from the city. So far away from traffic noise, yet close to the city with the known advantages. Not wrongly promotes our city with the slogan 'Offenburg the gateway to the Black Forest'.
The well-appointed apartment has to content: living room with a sofa, chair, Smart TV with cable, stereo with CD player and telephone. 2 bedrooms (bed size 2,0 mx 1,90 m with adjustable grid) for max 4 persons. Kitchen with ceramic hob and fan assisted oven (AEG), dishwasher (Bosch), microwave, toaster, kettle, radio-CD player, blender, coffee / Senseo, dining table with 2 chairs and an upholstered corner seat. Bathroom with shower, WC. Game Nursery. The south-arranged balcony is equipped with a seating (4 chairs), 2 chairs and electric awning .. Here you can relax or take your breakfast, enjoy the panoramic view and your domicile to oasis will leave.
For free disposal: sheets, towels, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, broadband (W-LAN), telephone, dishwasher tablets, spices. Liquid soap and paper towels. A washing machine is against € 2.00 fee for shared use. Parking is located in front of the house. Please note: Smoking is only allowed on the balcony, pets are not allowed ..
Our house is centrally located and is suitable for hiking and biking as well as for day trips by car. Many attractive destinations and attractions are within easy reach. Gengenbach with the historic Old Town, the open air museum Vogt farms in Gutach, the Dorotheenstadt glassworks in Wolfach, the Triberg Waterfalls, the Europa Park in Rust is a special experience for families with children. The entire Black Forest with its famous highlights -Mummelsee, Titisee, Schluchsee, the Feldberg with 1500 m / NN the highest mountain in the region, not to mention the many scenic spots are all worth a visit. Places like Freiburg, Baden Baden or the neighboring Alsace with the Metropole Strasbourg are recommended and can be reached in less than an hour.

Summary: The nicest people you will ever meet host this home. So considerate and concerned about the enjoyment of your stay. Attention to detail was incredible, The house was extremely clean, very well stocked, nothing lacking. Spacious, lots of room. Very comfortable living room. Bedrooms were large and beds were very good. The view from the balcony was beautiful. Peaceful neighborhood, mountains of France in the distance, home surrounded by vineyards.... perfect! In the heart of the Black Forest. Wonderful location for day trips. I highly recommend this home and these hosts. One of the best places we have ever stayed.

Summary: Really Lovely property in a great location. We had a brilliant time visiting the Black Forest (first visit). The hosts were great and any questions we had they were able to answer. They were very nice and friendly as were all the other locals we met. This is a great base for exploring the Black Forest and would recommend to families.

Summary: We (2 adults, 2 children) stayed at Haus Vogelsang for 9 nights. We were welcomed by Mr and Mrs Humpert, who ensured we were at home and knew where to find everything. The house is very clean, very well equipped, very peaceful and has beautiful views. It is well located to visit the black forest and beyond. They also gave us lots of information about local towns and also local amenities. I would throroughly recommend a stay at Haus Vogelsang and very much hope we can return in the future.

Summary: We stayed at Haus Vogelsang for a week following a family funeral in the north of Germany. We needed somewhere to relax and to restore our spirits and Haus Vogelsang was perfect. It is one of the most comfortable and best equipped holiday properties that we have ever stayed in. The weather was cold, but the apartment, with its wonderful views over the Rhine Valley, was always warm and cosy. It was ideal for a winter break, but must also be a beautiful place to stay in summer. We know the area well and were able to visit places we have always loved. Even though many tourist attractions were closed, we enjoyed walking in the beautiful little towns and in the Kinzig Valley. The house is well-placed for both the town of Offenburg and the surrounding countryside. We would certainly recommend it and will aim to make a return visit ourselves in the future. Summary: The apartment is very spacious, beautifully presented and very well equipped for our family holiday, with friendly and welcoming hosts, who added little touches that make the stay memorable. Surrounded by vineyards with access to walks, cycle rides and a great local restaurant straight from the door. All of the main Black Forest sights are within an hour to an hour and a half drive, an whilst the apartment feels remote it has easy access to main highways. Would highly recommend, we had a fabulous holiday, so much to see and do.

Summary: We have enjoyed our stay in this house. The house is fine; good kitchen, fine bathroom and very pleasant and spacious balcony. Offenburg is close by with all amenities, the Black Forest is literally at your footstep and on walking distance.

Summary: We had a very nice stay with Eugene and Renate Humpert. Very nice, caring and helpful couple. Beautiful spacy (bed)rooms, big kitchen, good shower. Everything was complete. Nice and quiet area, quite close to the town centre, beautiful view on Offenburg and Vogezen mountains. Also our kids (12 & 14) enjoyed themselves. And only a 20 minutes drive to Europapark, perfect! Highly recommendable place to stay! Thank you Eugene and Renate!

Summary: This is a fantastic apartment with stunning views across the Rhine valley towards France. The terrace was our most used room, for meals and an evening drink. Watching the sun set over France with glass in hand will be one of our lasting memories. The house is well located. It's in a very quiet spot close to vineyards and the very good Weinstube Schuckshof (10 mins walk). The A5 is minutes away giving access north to Baden Baden (well worth the trip for the spa experience) and south to Freiburg for the museums. And of course the Schwarzwald. We did the very lovely (and touristy) Tittesee for lunch and a trip round the lake, but also managed to roam off the beaten track which is very rewarding. For tranquillity and beauty Glaswaldsee was hard to beat. The wine cooperative in the very attractive town of Durbach is well worth seeking out; helpful anglophone staff and some exceedingly good wines. The apartment itself is very spacious and immaculately kept; the gardens even more so; Eugen is quite some gardener. The kitchen is fully equipped (incl. 2 types of coffee machine) and the bedrooms comfortable. Two large sitting rooms would also have proved useful had the weather not treated us so well. Finally, many thanks to Eugen and Renate who were very welcoming, helpful both on our arrival and during our stay. Eugen's English far outclassed my very old German, which proved useful when discussing where to go, what to see and do, and more importantly, wine. Highly recommended.

Summary: We had a very good 6 night stay at haus Vogelsang. Very nice friendly hosts who own a spotless spacious apartment with everything you need for a holiday supplied. The views from the balcony across offenburg & towards France were spectacular & a great backdrop for meals outside on the balcony. The spacious bedrooms are great with king size beds & lots of room. A well equipped kitchen is also a plus for this property. It is in a very quiet location situated within many vineyards which provide many places to walk from the property. We visited Europa park for 2 days whilst there which is only about 30 minutes easy drive. The local town of Offenburg is also nice with a good selection of shops & a market on Saturday mornings. We also visited the southern Black Forest which is very picturesque. Thanks again for a great stay & if you are thinking of booking you will not be disappointed
