Five-acre home fenced and lined with giant mature trees. This land is remote and private perfect for your desert experience. One of the best places for star gazing and entertaining gatherings. The house has three bedrooms, three full bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, two living room areas, a large 8–10-seater dining table, a breakfast nook, a TV room, and over 70 outdoor seating areas. There is wi-fi, three Smart TVs with Netflix, direct cable TV, YouTube, and an extensive collection of DVD movies. Central Air Conditioning in the entire house. Various outdoor seating areas with comfortable furniture, three hammocks, a fire pit, BBQ, 18' x 18" above-ground pool, and jacuzzi sitting under a 26-34 elegant tall free-standing pergola for comfortable shade 365 days of the year. Excellent nightlife with full bar, menu, and often they have live music and festivals. The northern entrance of Joshua Tree Park is 15 minutes away by car. The Sky is the Limit Observatory is 20 minutes away by car. Groceries, shopping areas, and restaurants are in downtown Twentynine Palms, only 20 minutes away. Excellent farmers market in Downtown Twentynine Palms and Joshua Tree on Saturdays from 8 am to 1 pm. We highly suggest taking the scenic back road through the Mojave Desert to Las Vegas. It is 2 hours away from home. The Mojave National Park & Amboy Volcano Crater are 45 minutes further down our road! A bus line runs along Hwy 62 with access to Yucca Valley and Twentynine Palms, along with two local cab services, Lucky 777 and American Cab Co. In the desert, critters are simply a fact of life. Just a warning for those weary of bugs, even though our house is spotless, no one in the desert can avoid the occasional critter breaking in. The best way to avoid them in the house is to keep doors closed. We will send you a short rental agreement you must sign before receiving all directions and keys. Summary: I want to start by stating how amazing these hosts are! Unfortunately there was a random monsoon that hit the desert the day of our checkin, and the hosts were very attentive of me and my friends and ensured that we made it to their house safely. In regards to the location, amazing getaway. The desert night sky is beautiful. Something you will never get in the city. Everything was very clean. Definitely recommend to anyone looking to get away and unwind.

Summary: We stayed on a weekend during July. It was HOT, but the home was very comfortable with air conditioning. Very clean with comfortable beds and plenty of supplies for cooking and relaxing. We stayed up much of the night watching stars and taking pictures of the Milky Way Galaxy, sometimes from the clean and refreshing pool. Watching from the front window, we were even able to watch a coyote hunt a rabbit - great excitement during a slow morning. We did not leave the property, though many suggestions for places to go locally were provided. WiFi was fast enough, Direct TV was provided, and games were found in the cabinet. Everything was labeled, helping us know where to find things and where to put back. Property was very well maintained leaving us feeling like we were in a professionally kept home. The home itself was well designed and decorated. We felt very safe with the gated property.

Summary: It was our first time in the CA desert and we were looking for a place for the Mother’s Day weekend. Saw this property and booked it because it had 5 acres and was advertised as being quiet. We absolutely loved it, it’s an older home but has character and was decorated beautifully. The kitchen is modern and everything has a label so you don’t have to search. We used the pool which was nice during the hot day, the water was cool. At night, the fireplace in the back was great. We sat out, looked up at the sky and were just amazed by the sky and stars. We would definitely stay there again.

Summary: What a great house. Clean pool and jacuzzi, loads of space to sit and relax throughout the 5 acre property. Numerous sitting places with shade, chairs, loungers, tables etc. What a great place. The house is huge and can easily fit three families. Owners were very responsive throughout the stay, we didn't need anything but they provided their cell number immediately upon arrival. What great place, I give the property my highest recommendation. Summary: Whether you are looking to connect with yourself, others, or nature, this is the place to stay. I selected this property from the many in the Joshua Tree area because I wanted solitude and a place to reflect and recharge. I found everything I was looking for. I wanted peaceful time alone (with my dog), and the 5 fenced acres were perfect for this. But if you are looking to bond with others, I can’t imagine a better place to do that. There are many thoughtfully placed-out sections in all areas and corners of the property where small or large groups can together. Inside, as well, creativity and generosity of spirit is evident. There are several comfortable places to sleep, including accommodations for families (with bunk beds for kids) and people traveling with dogs, and a fully stacked kitchen. Everything is labeled to make things easy to navigate. The house is filled with books and DVD’s and media options and there is something there to inspire or entertain everyone. Of course, you can skip all that and just let your mind wander and enjoy the healing offerings of nature – the brilliant sunrises, magical sunsets, and endless stars of Wonder Valley.
