Welcome to Cloverfield! Our guests will immediately be immersed in the quiet sanctuary of their own pine-lined private drive. The cottage just had a full remodel in 2019 so you are stepping into a brand new oasis! Your private tree lined driveway alongside sprawling horse corrals leads you directly to the cottage with plenty of parking for everyone. The quaint cottage offers privacy for all your guests in a quiet country setting. We offer three cozy bedrooms and two full baths, plus a well equipped kitchen. You may extend the living room couch into a queen-sized sleeper, and enjoy all of your favorite entertainment with free wi-fi and a 50” flat screen. You are welcome to a relaxing stroll through several acres of woods and gardens. We are in the heart of horse and golf country with plenty of fun just a few miles away. The gorgeous cottage is centrally located just 3 Miles from downtown Southern Pines and 6 Miles from downtown Pinehurst. Within 10 minutes are numerous public parks, splash pads, miles of walking and biking trails, dozens of playgrounds, frisbee golf, tennis and basketball courts open and lit until midnight during the summer months. Your entire family will find something exciting for everyone of all ages. Be sure to stay Friday nights so you won’t miss free movie nights in the park, taco trucks at Southern Pines brewery, or live music at the downtown amphitheater. The Cottage may be rented by the day, week or month fully furnished. All utilities are included in the pricing. Summary: Such an amazing old farmhouse - with plenty of room to bring the whole family, & we loved the fact that our fur baby was welcomed. Super comfortable bed, linens, and furniture. Loved the covered front porch with swing, rocking chairs, and decor. All amenities ( food, golf etc ) were found within a short drive. Hosts Ben and Lauren made themselves available with immediate responses to a couple queries we had. Highly recommend this property and hosts. THANK YOU for a memorable visit!

Summary: From leaving a 6-pack of beer from a local brewery for us upon arrival to quickly helping us change an empty propane tank to the grill so we can cook, Lauren and her husband were super accommodating and responsive! The cottage was a comfy little place for us to relax after long days on the golf course, all of which were very conveniently located to the cottage. We’re hoping to make this an annual golf trip to play all of the different courses in the area and this place will definitely be near the top of our list of places to stay if available!

Summary: This was a Christmas weekend for us to get together with our son and his family. The house was everything we expected. The owners work great with us and were easy to communicate with. We did not explore the area much but it was a very relaxing setting. I would not hesitate to rent The Cottage in the future.

Summary: My daughters and I stayed here with our 16 month old Labradoodle for three nights to celebrate a socially distanced pre-Christmas with my in-laws. Very, very cute place! We were surprised to read in the welcome materials that the cottage is 100 years old - the renovation was beautiful! Very comfy beds and pillows and clean, plush towels (not what we've usually experienced on VRBOs). This cottage is less than 10 minutes from my in-laws and we look forward to staying there again!
