Positive: It was so calm and relaxing! I liked the tents with a lot of space and private sitting area. You can even see animals through the fence if you are lucky! We saw an elephant and a giraffe. We were there to celebrate our anniversary and they brought live music on our first night and a lovely decorated plate. Lovely detail. Also, the food was amazing. Breakfast, lunch and dinner with plenty of options including vegetarian. If you have food allergies better check in advance though. I had the best massage ever with Rachel. She literally made all the tension of my body disappear. I was going for a 30 min massage initially but extended for a full hour because it was so good. My husband also enjoyed the massage. The staff was amazing and the highlight. All of them super nice: the lady at the reception, Abdi our room attendant, Marundu from the bar (not sure if I spelled the name right, but this man was a lot of fun and his vibe was amazing! He made us enjoy our afternoon beers even more!) Elvis from the restaurant, Roba from security, Hussain the safari driver, and every single employee at the hotel! I wish I had written all the names down to write a special thank you to each one of them because they all made our stay very pleasant and enjoyable. Always nice to us and super helpful.

Negative: Maybe the bathrooms could use some love and upgrade (new seats for example) but the toiletries are actually fantastic and bathrooms are very spacious with good ventilation which is great.

Positive: The location is perfect by the river and we met a big family of elephant not far from the lodge and the last day even a leopard around that area. The staffs are super nice and friendly, always ready to help and very flexible with our request about food, room arrangement. When some of us in the team was not feeling well there were trying the best to support and even called a doctor. Definitely recommend this place to others

Negative: The neighbors next to my tent were noisy during the night, maybe the staffs could remind the guest to be mindful about other guests when it's sleeping time.

Positive: Great location, tents are nice and comfortable with great views of the river and animals. Staff were all superb very friendly and efficient.

Negative: Good could be improved especially for kids and the pool was not clean during our stay.

Positive: The staff were friendly and helpful at the hotel. Bed is comfortable and the facilities in the room are in good condition. The hotel is next to river bank and the elephants come to drink sometimes. We saw herds of elephants on the way back from game drive near the hotel.

Negative: The name of the hotel is quite misleading as we thought it's located in Samburu National Park, however it's actually in Buffalo Springs National Park, which means we need to pay $140 ($70 each park) to enter Samburu and which is about an hour drive from the hotel. Also the hotel is incredibly difficult to contact, the "headquarter" never respond your calls/ emails/ messages.
