Positive: We had such a magical stay at Ashby Cottage earlier this month. Caroline & Robin were lovely hosts who made sure we had everything we needed. We absolutely loved the brownies which were left for us as a welcome treat - so delicious!! The cottage was a superb base for us to explore the Cotswolds, and we managed to see many different towns and villages over the 5 days we were there. We would love to come back!

Positive: Copious, tasty breakfast, lovely, quiet room. Discussions with the hosts were a pleasure. All the facilities are clean and well designed. A view from the room was agreable with very green landscape. The localisation was nice to take a boat at Portsmouth or Southampton.

Positive: The venue was immaculate clean and comfy.... In an ideal situation to use as a Cotswold base in which to travel around the area.

Positive: Nicely decorated, cosy, clean, well supplied with kitchen equipment

Negative: The dog treats were amazing but we didn't feel the house was Dog friendly. The garden was enclosed but was very small and gravelled. We were also told we couldn't "exercise" the dog in it. Well, it wasn't big enough to. We assumed this was a euphemism for letting the dog defecate. The only alternative was walking him along a busy road. Such a shame.
