Positive: The hotel is very clean and modern; staff are super friendly and helpful. Our apartment overlooked the river and some high-rise buildings which made view great in the evening when the lights are lit. Size is very spacious and there are a lot of storage places even for someone planning a long-term stay. Very happy with our stay.

Positive: Ascott Raffles City Chongqing – Review This is an outstanding property with an excellent location. The rooms are more like full apartments than hotel rooms—complete with a kitchen and in-unit laundry—which makes long stays extremely comfortable. The facility is very well maintained, and cleanliness is exceptional. I had zero allergy issues here and, honestly, the best sleep I’ve had in my life. One night I slept nearly 10 hours straight. I liked this property so much that I would seriously consider buying a unit here if given the opportunity. A few important points to be aware of: The hotel does offer “dinner,” but it’s not a full meal—more like soup and light snacks. The entrance can be tricky to find if you approach from the wrong direction. Once you locate it the first time, however, it’s very easy to access. This is not the entire Raffles City complex. The hotel occupies only about 10–20 floors within one of the buildings. Because of this, there is no access to the skywalk bridge, and no true river view. The open side of the hotel faces the city, not the river. That said, aside from these undisclosed structural limitations, everything else was nearly perfect. Comfort, cleanliness, maintenance, and sleep quality were all exceptional. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it—especially for longer stays where apartment-style living matters.

Positive: So much to like for this property. The location is excellent, the staff friendly and helpful, and the apartment was clean and beautifully maintained.

Negative: Smoke smell coming into the apartment through the kitchen and master bedroom bathroom.

Summary: Really enjoyable and comfortable stay at this property. Will defintiely stay again if we come back to Chongqing.
