Positive: Good location, not close to the centre but far from the chaos of Kumasi. Breakfast was really good. The onsite restaurant had a good menu of local food. The staff were excellent and provided great customer service. It was easy to communicate with the hotel. The pickup from the airport was great. The best thing for me was being able to organise a private driver to do some local trips with the best driver and asset to the hotel, Asante who was skillful and knowledgeable of the roads around Kumasi. Thanks Asante!

Negative: The personal tours with a private driver were quite costly given we didn't drive very far, but I got the best driver in the world!

Positive: We like the fact that it's off the main road but still quiet. The A/C works well and the morning staff and day time manager are pleasant. It's nice to have an on site restaurant. The ambiance at the restaurant is good.

Negative: The food has deteriorated since we visited last year. It took almost 90 minutes for me to get a very poorly cooked pizza for dinner. The night staff seemed annoyed when we asked where our food was after an hour. It's also good to note that they cannot charge your room via your Booking.com reservation, you need to be sure and pay prior to departing the hotel. We left and had to return because they could not charge our credit card on file. It would have been nice to know this when we checked in. I recommend that they charge the credit card once you check in to avoid this situation in the future. A few tweaks with the management (especially the night staff) would go a long way to improve the service here!

Summary: A mediocre hotel but the the highlights are that it's safe and rather quiet.

Negative: Everything was fine overall. However, it was unfortunate that we couldn’t use the laundry service due to bad weather, as it would have taken too long for the clothes to dry. I also inquired about a possible car service for the day and was told I would receive feedback later, but I never did.
