Summary: This is a beautiful hotel. The room I was given was one of the biggest hotel rooms I've ever seen! Pure luxury. One negative is that I ordered rice with vegetables, after explaining I'm vegetarian, but they brought vegetables cooked in a fish sauce with shrimp. After complaining, they brought me a different meal and a free drink. However, a chef in a 4-5* hotel should know that the definition of a vegetarian is simply no meat and no fish (pescatarians eat fish, but vegetarians don't)! I also had an in-room massage, which was supposed to be for 90 minutes but was only 60. So be careful with the agreed time of any treatments.

Summary: The hotel can do major upgrade for essentials. The linens and towels are yellowish old and use too much perfume. The carpet in the hall way and the room should be replaced and the wall paper needs to be replaced. This hotel has a lot of potential and is in prime location. The breakfast is amazing. It should invest more on the above.
