Positive: The family were absolutely lovely. Very helpful, kind and friendly. We felt very welcomed and at home. The location was set back from the wide beach a few steps away and convenient for the backwaters. Our hosts helped organise a kayak trip to the lake and island where we saw huge monitor lizards, and tuk tuks and taxis. The food was delicious.

Positive: What’s not love about a beach front property with sea views? Perfect place to chill for a couple of days after a week of travelling and sightseeing. Mr Melvin and his wife made us very welcome and we accepted their offer of lunch and dinner on our arrival day. The home cooked food was truly delicious. Room had aircon and fan, double bed, good sized bathroom and shared balcony.

Positive: The hosts ( Mr. Melvin and his family) were really amicable. The villa is just next to the beach and their home cooked food was also delicious. I would highly recommend this place to anyone be it with family or solo travellers. The hosts even suggested the route to reach his property. I would definitely revisit when I am in Alleppey.

Negative: There is absolutely nothing that we didn't like.

Positive: I can wholeheartedly recommend Arthunkal Beach Villa. The central yet quiet location of the homestay is ideal. The rooms are clean and equipped with everything you need. One highlight is definitely the beautiful view of the beach from the balcony. Melvin and Shruty are very warm, courteous hosts, and I would come back here just for them. They were also extremely helpful and assisted me in finding another homestay and ordering a rickshaw, for example. The food cooked by Shruty was delicious and I highly recommend eating at the homestay. Thank you all very much! I look forward to next time! :)

Positive: This is the best beach view home stay in Kerala. We enjoyed the assistance of the host Mr. Melvin and his family. Fish curry meals was superb. If we come to Kerala again, we will definitely stay there. It's a must try.
