Negative: The curtains are too small for the windows. They don’t stretch across the full width of the windows and are very thin, not blackout, so allow a lot of light into the room early in the morning. The bathroom extractor fans are extremely noisy when running. We could always hear the fans running in the adjoining rooms. We’ve stayed here before and the above applies to other rooms as well.

Positive: Very friendly staff, great location for a late evening walk to the town hall. Delicious breakfast. One thing to suggest is that the hotel is located in the middle of what used to be a military base. This could be more explained on the corridor walls.

Negative: Steel furniture on the balcony not ideal to sit on in the summer, as it makes noise, not comfy and absorb heat.

Summary: All you need for a weekend stay.

Positive: Friendly staff. Very nice, clean and spacious room. Tea provided : ) Great shower. Amazing breakfast!

Negative: It got too hot in the night. This is my fault for not turning the radiator down though! Although saying that the dial on the radiator was very difficult to access. Also...having a double bed which is just made of 2 single beds means I will slowly sink into the gap between the 2 beds.
