6 Bedroom House in Shelby, Grover

Arrow Haven is our personal home that we rent out while traveling or staying closer to town. It is 10 minutes from Shelby and the American Legion World Series games and 45 minutes from the Charlotte Douglas International airport.
The home is very spacious while maintaining a cozy feel. It's a craftsman style design with exposed timber framing. There are 6 bedrooms and an open living area in the basement. Multiple workspaces, WIFI (medium speed), a large luxury kitchen on the main floor and an additional kitchen in the basement. Lots of storage space, a full bathroom on each floor, laundry facilities, a huge deck with an outdoor TV and fireplace, partially handicap accessible with master bedroom on main floor. The basement has an outside entry.
The main level master bedroom has a queen size bed and a futon. It also has an en-suite bathroom with a huge bathtub and a slate tile shower.
Upstairs. you'll find our son's room that has a twin bed and two floor chairs that open up to make small single beds. Across the hall is the room. we call the nursery that has a queen size bed and a crib/changing table. As you go through the nursery, you will find a hallway that leads to a huge King bedroom with a sitting area. You will also find a bathroom off the hallway that has a shower/tub combination.
In the basement there are two bedrooms, one king bedroom with a futon and one queen bedroom. There is also a full kitchen with a dining table, a living room area and a bathroom that has a tub/shower combination.
The house is a central location to many places including Charlotte, where there are museums, Carowinds, and lots more. Greenville SC has a great downtown area and a zoo and much more, we are 45 minutes from both cities. Shelby is 10 minutes away and has a nice small town uptown area, home of the American Legion World Series, lots of festivals, parks and restaurants. There is a children's museum and equestrian center 45 minutes away in the other direction. We are in the foothills of the NC mountains. Crowders Mountain, Kings Mountain, South Mountain, Dupont National Forest, Tryon Equestrian Center, Linville Gorge, Chimney Rock, and many other beautiful places are all closeby. Asheville is a little over an hour away.

Summary: Outstanding home to stay in. So much to do on the property with the pool, huge deck, walking paths, pond down the lane with a zip line, basketball and more. Hosts were very informative.

Summary: This house is absolutely beautiful. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you and the pool is and outdoor area is stunning. My family stayed for the week, and we had stuck an amazing time. Tons of space for a large group, and kid friendly as well. We'll definitely visit again! Highly recommend.

Summary: Well-stocked, so much space, wonderful communication from owner, and relaxing place to spend time with old friends ! Main floor shower is luxurious. With more guests you’d have to be very cautious not to overwhelm septic system, but communication about that is clear from owner.

Summary: Arrow Haven is a LOVELY property. My family enjoyed our stay and the grands LOVED the pool. The beds were VERY comfortable and the KITCHEN was well stocked. My grandson loved the toy TRAIN TRACKS. Highly recommend and the OWNERS are quick to respond to any needs you may have. Thanks for sharing your LOVELY home with us.

Summary: This was the perfect spot for an extended family vacation. It's located in a secluded wooded area but close to nearby activities. The home was clean, spacious, and homey. It easily accommodated the 13 of us. The pool was awesome! We could hardly keep the grandkids out of it. We loved eating out on the deck. Chris and Elizabeth Greene were gracious hosts, concerned with our every need. They even suggested nearby restaurants and activities for the grandkids to enjoy. We were sad to leave.

Summary: Arrow Haven was exactly what we were looking for! Plenty of space for our family to gather, great amenities and a well appointed home. Everyone loved the pool and outdoor fireplace! The owners were fantastic to deal with and made the rental process really easy. We loved our stay and hope to come back next year.
