Summary: Stayed in the “dorm style” room. The common kitchen and living area was well stocked. There were dishes, different cooking implements, microwave, pots and pans in the kitchen. Each private room has a small fridge and a private bathroom. The AC was cold. When I stayed, I think there was only one other person in the dorm but I only heard them when they came in. I could not hear them in their room. My room had a glass slider to the grassy yard in front. Siobhan (front desk clerk) was friendly and communicated through messages about check-in before my stay. Check-in was quick. Facility was busy during my stay but my room was located away from the action and very quiet. This will be my usual stay when I’m in Hilo.

Summary: Loved it here! Would have stayed longer but they were booked up. Great location. Short BEAUTIFUL walk to the beach/park. The woman at the front desk was so nice and helpful! A+

Summary: Very accommodating and friendly staff. We were arriving late and they allowed us to check in late for a fee. The grounds of the lodge are good. Plenty of parking. We had the family room/suite with two bedrooms and a full kitchen, balcony. We loved our stay! It was close to beaches, attractions, sights, good restaurants. The Volcano National park is only 40 min away. Highly recommend!

Summary: Our room had a coffee pot and filters but no coffee. No facial tissue. Limited seating other than beds. Staff was wonderful. Outdoor space had a lot to offer.
