Positive: Staff, location and facilities were excellent, being comfortable and welcoming.

Negative: Improvement would be beneficial on the food. The cauliflower tacos in the bar were not as good as expected. The cauliflower was cold and the tacos were crispy on one side and soggy on the other. The vegetarian breakfast was good, but not great, as it was not uniformly hot, particularly the tomato. As a single diner in the restaurant, I like to have a secluded table. The single table offered was beside the staff entrance to the kitchen and alongside the main walkway. It felt like sitting in a corridor! It would have been better moved to near the window, where there is space, and it would have aligned with three other tables

Positive: Very warm and attentive staff throughout the hotel. Comfy and spacious room. Good value food and drink,

Negative: No trad music in town that night and the music on the night we stayed is not to my taste.
