Positive: The hotel is a gem in beautiful garden setting. The whole guest experience was well coordinated. Staff are highly trained and take pride in their work. The hotel offers an extensive menu available breakfast, lunch and dinner. The seafood was a standout for us.

Positive: The breakfast was good, especially the fruit. Servers were friendly and coffee was great - not Nescafe, but real coffee from an espresso machine. The room and beds were well appointed, very comfortable and quiet.

Negative: The soap provided in the room gave me an itchy skin rash that lasted for days. Night staff were less than helpful or friendly. The lobby area was dimly lit and my son tripped and fell over a step. There was a light in the pool that came out of it's housing. Is it going to electrocute someone?

Summary: We enjoyed the old, colonial feel of this property, the comfortable beds, and the quiet neighborhood

Positive: Room & lounge area great bathroom with large bath & shower nice pool & canal views from.balcony.. Surprisingly quiet tucked away on a small street surrounded by trees in bustling Bangkok. Very stylish yet rustic thai style. Restaurant had great veggie food (some seafood tho but no meat). Friendly restaurant staff.

Negative: When we checked out our taxi driver was told to.move the car rather than us beimg able to load up easily in the rain. That was the only issue & not major. Would stay again for short time (as quite expensive).

From the moment I arrived, I felt warmly welcomed. The staff were genuinely lovely, always greeting me with kindness and making me feel at ease. The villa I stayed in was spacious and thoughtfully designed. It had a cozy sitting area, a generous wardrobe, and a fridge stocked with complimentary water, fresh juices, and milk for tea or coffee—such a thoughtful touch. The bathroom was a standout: double sinks, a separate shower and bath, and a layout that was both luxurious and beautifully aligned with Thai cultural architecture. One detail I’ll never forget: the incredible pandan-scented body lotion they provided. It smelled divine—so much so that I ended up buying two bottles to take home. It was such a sensory delight. After days filled with street trekking, temple visits, and mall hopping, this lush green villa tucked away in the middle of bustling Sukhumvit offered the perfect retreat—a much-needed pause before heading home. We received a warm lovely welcome letter with a basket of fresh fruits, plus smiles and kindness from the staff - very fitting as our room was named, "Metta", which means kindness in Thai. Despite being in the heart of the city, the property feels worlds away with its tranquil gardens, charming architecture, and serene atmosphere. The presence of friendly cats wandering around added warmth and character, and the staff were nothing but smiles—genuinely kind, helpful, and attentive. I indulged in an amazing massage that left me completely relaxed and recharged—just what I needed after an activity-packed vacation. The breakfast was another highlight: fresh-cut fruits, vibrant juices, your choice of a hot meal, and a breakfast beverage, all beautifully prepared and served in a calming setting. The location is also very convenient. It's about a 20+ minute walk to Terminal 21, and if you're up for a bit more walking, an additional 15 minutes will take you to Emsphere, Emporium, and Benchasiri Park. It’s close enough to the action while still offering a peaceful escape. If you’re looking for a quiet, soulful place to unwind in Bangkok, Ariyasom Villa is a rare gem.
