Positive: The location couldn't be better, right on the beach, 10 minutes walk to the pub across the stunning beach, time your exit though as we got caught at high tide on our planned return....meant we had to go back to the extremely friendly and reasonably priced pub for another 2 hours......I know....we were devastated 😜🤣 Easy access to Dublin via the M1, Train station is a fair old walk but doable if you'd rather do that, with trains into Dublin city center,...check the time table though and plan your walk/taxi accordingly. Just simple and amazing place with wonderful hosts, I requested some flowers to be there upon arrival and I wasn't let down, nothing was an issue. We'll definitely be returning, many thanks to Mary and crew for making our stay such a beautiful and memorable few days.

Positive: We came a a christmas stay, the owner couldn't have been nicer to us. The accommodation was fantastic and the views were to die for. Have booked to come back in March. Highly recommend this accommodation

Negative: Honestly it's pretty far away from Dublin. You will need a car.

Positive: Our stay in Argyle lodge was beyond fantastic. We loved the location, right by a beautiful beach; the grassed communal area is nicely fenced so kids can safely play; ability to rent kayaks and kids toys; the accommodation itself was very comfortable and well equipped.

Negative: Our stay was perfect but only minor thing is one of the rooms was pretty cold and could feel breeze coming in through the window (we stayed in the 2 bed nearest the beach).

Positive: The place was clean and comfortable, beach was a few feet away from the chalet, it was peaceful and scenic, good for families with young children

Negative: The Internet was really bad so the TV was a waste of time and I could not use my phone or lap top very well, I would recommend buying an Irish sim card if you stay here

Positive: Great location, kind owners. They let us check in as soon as the room was ready when we arrived a little earlier than expected. Location is absolutely beautiful, only a 30 min drive from the airport. Apartment was clean and spacious, and we had everything we needed for a family of 4. Train station is only a few minutes drive away, an easy ride into Dublin city centre. Staying right on Rush Beach was amazing. We loved the Harbour Bar and Harbour playground which were only a 5 min walk down the beach. Active, friendly community. Staying here was the highlight of our trip to Ireland.
