Ardbrae is a four bedroom property and sleeps up to eight guests. The master bedroom is spacious with a super king bed and walk in wardrobe. In addition, the master has a en-suite with a bath tub and a balconete area which faces onto Nevis Range. The second bedroom can either be set as a super king or two single beds with en-suite shower room and a double wardrobe. Summary: Was a great house with good views and plenty of space

Summary: Booked Ardbrae to "decompress" after a week in Edinburgh and the Festival. The property is better than described. The photos don't do it justice. Spacious and comfortable. All 8 of us (3 generations) enjoyed 5 days without tripping over each other. The views from the balcony and the living room are wonderful. The area is quiet, with plenty of options for short hikes to the canal/locks, or through the hills. We used the property as a base for trips to Glencoe, Fort Augustus, and Loch Ness. We will return!

Summary: Overall, this is a great place: rooms are spacious, the location is quiet and scenic (literally a few hundred meters from the Caledonian Canal) with easy access to Fort William (roughly 20 min drive). The walk along the canal path is lovely. The only complaint is that during our stay the large (larder) fridge was not working, which made storing perishable food for our party of seven challenging. Hopefully this will be remedied soon. Otherwise, a great place to stage exploration of Lochaber.
