Positive: We were the only guest in our time there so we had the entire house to ourselves. the View was amazing and they moved us from a external room to an internal room. Overall it was a brilliant stay and I can recommend the Arctic Ocean Lodge

Negative: To use the hot tub is very expensive as it is wood fire based. Other then that I have no complaints with my stay

Positive: Beautiful area, comfortable room and bed and a very nice shared space with kitchen.

Negative: I tried to reserve the hot tubs and the property got back to me with a very high day rate. We wouldn't be arriving until later so I'd asked if it was a possibility to only book for a couple of hours. The property didn't reply again until the day we checked in and told us they take hours to heat up so it wouldn't be possible. A little disappointed we were unable to use the facilities but otherwise the stay was enjoyable.

Positive: - Stunning location - Super clean - We happened to experience the pizza evening which was really nice - Lovely facilities and possibility for experiences in the sea

Negative: I wouldn’t recommend staying in the main house if you have kids or of you are a light sleeper. Bathroom and kitchen are shared like in a hostel so the quality of your experience entirely dépends on whom you share the space with. We were pretty unlucky and had the whole place rented by a big group so we had almost zero sleep!

Positive: Stunning quiet location that is far from most of the main tourist areas of Lofoten but dont let that discourage you from visiting, this is a completely authentic and family run lodging experience. We really valued our time here in the cozy rorbua. It is a perfect location for doing a loop of Andoya Island for a day as well. 100% recommend for a relaxing weekend getaway, just be prepared to bring any food you want in, as it is 30 min to the nearest store.

Positive: Uniquely remote waterfront place. Beautifull home with an authentic ambience. Stayed one night and enjoyed a very relaxed evening. A good start point on the way to the Andenes ferry along the facinating west coast of Andoya.

Positive: Location is A-class with lot’s of current opportunities and even bigger future chances to grow. Very clean and peacefull (eventhough I can imagine that some great parties can be held there)

Negative: Shared bathroom (bathroom was super clean and comfortable but I expect an individual bathroom when i select that specific option) I think it is a good idea to mention the shared kitchen etc. with pictures, so people can form an opinion on wether they like that or not.

Summary: Comfortable with a slight awkwardness 😊
