Positive: What you find at Archontikon 1817 is a three-dimensional maze of rooms, passages, and staircases that developed over two centuries. From the terrace you see a 12th century church just a couple hundred meters away. The property has several wood-burning fireplaces and the guests are expected to fire up at least some of them. Electric heaters are also available. The hosts provided us with plenty of snacks and a couple bottles of wine. The overall feeling is that of discovery. Amazing!
