Positive: We liked everything about this cottage. It was super comfortable and relaxing and furnished and equipped well so it felt homely. We appreciated the friendly helpfulness of the hosts. Chagford is a good base for walking. We enjoyed the moors and river walks. Another bonus is that there are great options in the village for buying quality food supplies or eating out.

Positive: We felt right at home in this beautifully decorated, furnished and equipped cottage. It felt quiet and secluded despite being so close to the centre of town. Very comfortable, beautifully decorated (no airbnb minimalism!) and well equipped. I could have stayed indefinately to read the books and relax.

Negative: Nothing really. I suppose the parking was a bit tight as it is in a small courtyard through a gate but in Chagford itself most places don't have any parking so it was good to have some here.

Summary: Lovely cottage close to town centre.

Positive: Arch cottage is comfortable, well equipped and charming. Comfy beds, fantastic shower! Fru the host had left some cream scones for us to arrive to. You can walk into the village for shops and pubs and straight up onto the moors if that is your thing. (we did some stunning walks up on the high moor) Fru also bought fresh flowers from her garden which was a lovely touch. She was very friendly, charming and helpful. The cottage has parking, which is a real bonus. All in all a lovely place with a lovely host. Thank you Fru!

Negative: The cottage is a little bit dark downstairs but there is space to sit outside as well.

Summary: I am already planning to come back next year!
