Summary: The staff were very friendly, the chef was amazing, the chef would make fresh food for us everyday! Our room was cleaned every day, the only thing was about the hotel, need a update, like refurbished, my husband will be staying there again in September, going on a few day business trip.

Summary: Very clean hotel, despite being dated, yet we'll maintained. The staff is very friendly and goes above and beyond. The general area is sketchy as most of downtown Pretoria, but one can't fault the hotel for that.

Summary: It’s an old Hotel, furniture and fittings quite dated but it was clean. The Staff are very helpful and pleasant to guests, and they offer free transport/tours to guests to move about Pretoria. The Restaurant was disappointing.This Hotel seems to focus on hosting large groups for Conferences, which suits their central location in Pretoria.

Summary: My girlfriend & I stayed in April 07, the hotel is plesant & well maintained, but the decor is a little tired. The staff were polite & friendly (they let us check in at 10:00 in the morning). We were meant to be on a road trip around S.A. but the car broke down, however the hotel was able to put us up for the extra night & because they have their own minivans & taxis (4 in total)they were able to run us around (for a minimal fee, added to the bill) while the car was being fixed. The food was nothing special, but was filling and reasonably priced - we had breakfst & dinner each day. There are always plenty of staff around to help if needed. Although close to sunnyside,which has a slightly dodgey reputation, all the locals were pleasant, & we had nice walks around without feeling unsafe. We would definitely go back to use the hotel as a base camp to explore the Pretoria area.
