Positive: The host, Mr Anil was so friendly and accommodating. The house was spacious and on the beach. Please remember that away from the pretence of the 5* all inclusive hotels, Mauritius is poor. The villa is at the rear of a hotel that it shares a beach with. You get to see real Mauritius and you do need a car to travel around. Flic n flac is a beautiful area, but a little tourist biased. Travel away and see the real country. Mr Anil could not help anymore than he did. Arranging fishing, other trips and looking for items we needed. He cooked a tuna and made a salad after our fishing trip. Highlights were trips to curiosity corner, port Louis. Personally I wouldn't bother with seven earth's as it looks nothing like the photoshopped images in the brochures and postcards. The five island trip from Blue Bay was amazing and well worth the money.

Positive: The sea is walking distance. Very friendly neighbours. Mango trees and papaya trees growing next to the house and neighbours were giving the fruits to us out of kindness.

Negative: all bedroom windows are looking at the backyard of a hotel. When the kitchen of the hotel is working than it smells outside and it is also loud. No sea view. The beach to use is belonging to hotel with no kids policy. We couldn't even get a glass of water, no food, nothing as we had a 4 year old with us. The guards every day were trying to prove us that the beach belongs to the hotel guests only. That was very annoying for us.

Summary: Overall positive as we came for visiting the island and not to stay in the villa.

Positive: Big and comfortable space, we had whole villa for ourselves. Very quiet and private stay. Beautiful terrace and yard for the evening chill out. Nice access to the beach.

Negative: Hot and cold water was unable to adjust, so the usage of the shower was tricky 😁

Positive: Mr Anil was too wonderful for words. The accommodation was spacious, there's a nice garden, access to the beach, lots of parking, cute cats and everything that you might need at the house. Groceries are nearby.

Negative: If it's a cloudy day it's a pity there's no hot water from the solar. It can get quite noisy with the hotel next door, but not too bad.

Summary: Lovely stay at Arabica...will be back!
