Positive: Very pleasant welcome with a gift of a tin of waffles.2 leonidas chocolates in room.tea and coffee making facilities in room.there was a walk in /sit down shower for disabled with a bar for safety.downstairs there was a wine bar where you could use your card to taste different wines.also a playroom for little ones.the shop had lots of nice things for xmas.

Negative: They needed a slip mat in the shower for safety.

Summary: Great location.would stay again.

Positive: Nice and cosy, little gifts and good looking room. Very clean and good smelling. Bed was comfortable

Negative: Between our room and next room was a door, probably to make it double room if needed. But we heard all talks and everything what happens behind this door (there was a child) and we didn't felt any privecy.

Positive: From walking into the hotel, we were greeted by the front of house staff, efficient check in and shown around the hotel. It is very well maintained and very clean in the communal areas and in the bedrooms. Excellent facilities. The staff and the food in the restaurant were lovely. We will certainly return when we are in the area or passing through. Can't recommend it enough.

Negative: Everything was great.

Positive: We liked everything, from the personal greeting at check in, to the welcome gift, to the discovery that we had a complimentary upgrade, to dining at the hotel. It was all wonderful! The location is perfect for those wanting to explore the area and for us as a stop over to the channel tunnel the following morning. Our room felt very homely and we would recommend it and be happy to stay again.

Negative: That we didn’t stay longer!

Positive: The food in the restaurant is very good and the menu offers ample choice. Had twice breakfast and dinner in the restaurant. The rooms are very nice and having airco is a plus when staying in the summer months. Staff were very friendly.
