Summary: Excellent stay at Apu, highly recommend. Friendly, accommodating staff. Kindly prepared wonderful breakfast for our group. This is where you should stay in Ollantaytambo!

Summary: This is a really great value. Beautiful grounds with flowers and trees and a couple hammocks in the morning sun. Once you get to Ollyantatombo every place is a bit more rugged than other parts of Peru so don't expect everything to work perfectly. Internet was bit hit and miss but the connection at the hotel was always good. Drains were slower than usual. Breakfast was nice each morning, they make eggs for you however you like them and have fruits, yogurt, granola coffee and juice available. Staff was helpful and friendly. We would stay again for sure.

Summary: Such a gorgeous little BnB, down the beautiful cobbled streets. Don't be expecting glitzy - it looks just like it does in the photos. The room is basic, clean and set in absolutely beautiful gardens - a few stunning minutes walk from the square. Delicious simply breakfasts lovely prepared by the staff on site. Couldn't really say more about how lovely the people are, how stunning the area was and the fresh and delicious food and drinks in Olly! Highly recommend.

Summary: Wonderful reception…. Very friendly and helpful. This felt more authentic in comparison to other stays in Peru. We had to wake up early the following morning, before breakfast hours, and they offered an early breakfast and were overall very accommodating. The location is tucked away off of a walking route and feels like a special sanctuary on beautiful, lush grounds with lots of flowers and trees. Overall, a wonderful experience.

Summary: This little gem made our entire trip so much more than expected! Researching Machu Picchu and ways to get there was overwhelming until we found this cute, quaint and charming b&b. Highly recommend staying in Ollantaytambo versus Cusco…you experience a lot of local influence without the overly tourist aspect. As someone who is well traveled in their career and stays in luxury hotels for work often, I can say with complete confidence that this place has the most wonderful hospitality, charisma, and character. The proprietors of this property really know what they are doing! And while it is an extra 8-10 minute walk to the town’s square/train station, its quiet charm, peace and garden is well worth it! Breakfast every day was with fresh bread, jam, and ready to order eggs. They had amazing local recommendations and helped ensure we had an INCREDIBLE dinner at a local restaurant 2 blocks over. The room overlooked the gorgeous garden and only enhanced the views of the incredible Andes mountains surrounding us! This place will forever hold a special place in my heart and I look forward to the day I get to come back.
