Summary: I always look for good reviews before booking and Aptel East lived up to its well deserved high score. Lovely staff at reception. Beautifully presented and clean room and en-suite with toiletries and nice towels. Whitechapel station and bus stops close by. We were attending a conference at St Mary's so it was ideal for us. This is a multi-cultural area and it was nice NOT to be faced with the usual chains of retailers. Would definitely return and highly recommend to others.

Summary: The overall stay was good; the television reception needs improving - channels were scrambling all the time. The location was greet; near 3 major tubes that connected to all major lines; bus transportation was right out the door and the area was hospitable and inviting. Close to a variety of eating establishment, and the neighborhood was walkable.

Summary: Hotel staff were friendly and timely responded to our request (eg getting extra blankets). The hotel room was quiet and dark which is essential for a good night sleep. The hotel was located somewhere between two tube station and subway lines that requires a bit of walk (within 5-10 mins). There are supermarkets nearby for essentials. Overall good experience.

Summary: Modern building, well appointed room, friendly and efficient service from front desk. Convenient to a bus stop. Only downside was AC didn't work consistently, and there was a very hot day.

Summary: Affordable apartment about ten minutes from Aldgate East and Whitechapel tube stations. Family room had two double beds rather than a sofa bed which we greatly appreciated :)
