Positive: We loved staying at Appletrees. Tessa’s warm welcome, the lovely bright, beautifully decorated room, the luxuriously comfortable bed, the spotless en-suite with everything you needed and more, the delicious breakfast on the terrace with Tessa’s homemade yoghurt and fruit compote topped with strawberries, the stunning view - and, of course, the weather. So many lovely touches that make such a difference for a rare long weekend. It’s hard to beat perfection. Of all the B&Bs we've stayed in, over some 20 years, this will remain the most memorable. We’d love to return.

Positive: had a wonderful stay at this B&B. Tessa was really friendly and supportive, making me feel very welcome. The property is in a stunning location, offering beautiful views right from the house. The breakfast was delicious and a perfect start to the day. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful getaway!

Negative: Everything was wonderful, and I had a great stay. If I had to mention one personal preference, the mattress was a little soft for me—but I know this is very subjective, and others might find it perfect!

Positive: Tessa was a warm and friendly host. Impeccable! Lovely decor in a cosy house, with a beautiful view of the countryside at breakfast.

Negative: (These are only to my preference so please don’t let this put you off staying!) I would have preferred a lock on our door. The bed was comfy but a bit too soft for us (again personal preference only!). And some milk for hot drinks in the room would be good - even long life pots - but saying that I’m sure if you asked Tessa she’s have no problem supplying anything!
